Storm Eye-30IE-M is a AI version 3-axis gimbal that integrates a 30x optical zoom camera, a 640x512 thermal camera, and a 3000 meters laser rangefinder. AI indicates auto-indentify, featuring auto detection and stable tracking for car and human. The high-performance 3-axis gimbal is developed based on FOC (field-oriented control) technology, giving you crystal-clear video footage. The 30x zoom camera provides 1080P 30fps full HD video streaming and up to zoom 360x capability, which enables you to see every detail you need in the air, even if you are far away from the target. At the same time, the thermal camera allows you to detect targets at night or in low visibility conditions.
It provides priceless information when carrying out missions like inspecting or object monitoring. The high-precision laser rangefinder can accurately resolve the GPS location and distance of the object within 3000 meters, and this information will display on the screen automatically.

Target GPS coordinate
The advanced location calculating algorithm is used to calculate the target's distance within 3000 meters and accurately analyze the longitude and latitude of the target. This feature is essential for drone patrol and inspection: suspicious target coordinates can be easily obtained and shared with the supervisor. Also, the drone can keep watching the target based on the coordinates.
Auto-Identity: auto detection and tracking
Based on cross-correlation, tracking and object miss recapturing algorithm, Storm Eye-30IE-M 30x EO/IR triple sensor zoom camera can realize continuously stable object tracking on both daylight zoom camera and the thermal imager.
Fly by camera
A surveillance VTOL can follow and monitor a stationary or moving target of interest along a routine patrol route if the onboard drone zoom camera tracks it. Additionally, the target's coordinates can be copied and shared with the command center. Once the monitoring is complete, the VTOL drone can return to its original patrol route.
Monitor target movement status via GCS
The pilot can use the LAUNCH GCS to monitor the target's movement status, such as real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, as well as the distance between the target and the HOME position.
Fast deploy and simple gimbal control
The 3-axis EO/IR drone gimbal supports YDPORT quick attach and release mechanism, making gimbal installation fast and convenient. Meanwhile, the drone gimbal supports S.bus, TTL serial port, and ethernet. With the help of YDlink gimbal control software, gimbal control is simple and easy.
MAVLINK compatible
Storm Eye-30IE-M drone gimbal is compatible with drones powered by PX4 and Ardupilot, making integration relatively convenient.
