Compass Calibration-Free (differential GPS)
The pilot does not need to do compass calibration on the Sky Whale Max VTOL UAV, saving lots of time in emergency tasks. Furthermore, the fixed-wing VTOL won't get affected by surrounding electromagnetic interference (EMI) anymore since the compass is replaced by DGPS, significantly improving the VTOL flight stability in the air.
Fly by Camera (optional)
This surveillance VTOL can follow and monitor a stationary or moving target of interest along a routine patrol route if the onboard drone zoom camera tracks it. Additionally, the target's coordinates can be copied and shared with the command center. Once the monitoring is complete, the VTOL drone can return to its original patrol route.
Monitor Target Movement Status on GCS (optional)
The pilot can use the LAUNCH GCS to monitor the target's movement status, such as real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, as well as the distance between the target and the HOME position.
Follow Me Feature (optional)
Sometimes, the flight platform, such as a boat or a vehicle, needs to move after the drone takes off to complete a mission. In this scenario, the drone must be capable of following the moving flight platform and landing once the task is completed. This feature is very useful when the VTOL drone is conducting a surveillance or monitoring mission on the sea.
Live View & Control In Command Center (optional)
Even far from the flight site, operators in the command center can remotely preview live video streaming from the drone camera and control the drone gimbal camera simultaneously, making it particularly ideal for surveillance, inspection, and disaster response that require strategic planning and coordinated efforts.
